ABSTRACT Introduction: Events such as the Paralympic Games leave a series of legacies in host societies. This is also applicable to development associated scientific knowledge, particularly field sports biomechanics. Objective: The objective this study investigate Brazilian production biomechanics during cycle that preceded and followed Rio 2016 Games. Additionally, aims provide insights for future research endeavors. Methods: search was conducted on Lattes Platform, utilizing filters “Assunto” “Doutores” keywords “Paralímpico” “Paralympic.” In total, 723 authors were identified who published articles related topic. Subsequently, curricula accessed, sorted identified, resulting 37 met all inclusion criteria.
